The average amount of nitrates in Nitrate Powder is 3%, which is a high concentration and directly from the beets and garlic. Indirectly, curcumin’s role is to manage the amount of nitrates that may convert to nitrites, which is an intermediate step before nitrates convert to nitric oxide.
